Review HONDA 400t Rear Suspension Shocks Oem fits CM400E CM400C CM400A 1981

The 52400-447-732 CM400E Honda 400T 81 Rear CM400C Suspension Shocks are a critical component of your motorcycle's performance and safety. These shocks are designed specifically for the Honda CM400 series, including the CM400E, CM400T, and CM400A models from the 1981 model year.

These shocks are built to provide a balanced ride, absorbing the impact of road irregularities and ensuring stable handling. The damping system is finely tuned to provide both comfort and control, allowing you to maintain traction and maneuverability even on rough surfaces.

The shocks are made from high-quality materials, including chrome-plated steel for durability and corrosion resistance. They feature a monotube design, which provides a larger oil volume for improved cooling and longer service life. The shocks also have adjustable preload to allow for fine-tuning based on the rider's weight and loading conditions.

Installing these shocks is a straightforward process, with easy-to-follow instructions included. They come with all necessary hardware for installation, including bushings, seals, and mounting bolts.

Upgrading to these high-performance shocks can significantly improve your motorcycle's ride quality and handling. They are a worthwhile investment for any Honda CM400 owner looking to enhance their riding experience.

Pros of buying a Honda CM400E 400T with CM400C suspension and CM400A shocks:

1. Reliability: Honda is known for its reliability and durability, which is a significant advantage for any motorcycle buyer.

2. Fuel Efficiency: The CM400E 400T is known for its excellent fuel efficiency, which can save you money in the long run.

3. Power: The CM400E 400T has enough power to handle most riding conditions, making it a versatile motorcycle.

4. Suspension Upgrade: The CM400C suspension and CM400A shocks can improve the bike's handling and ride quality, making it more comfortable and enjoyable to ride.

Cons of buying a Honda CM400E 400T with CM400C suspension and CM400A shocks:

1. Price: Upgrading the suspension and shocks can add to the cost of the bike, which may be a deterrent for some buyers.

2. Availability: The specific model with these upgrades may be harder to find, which could require more time and effort to locate.

3. Maintenance: Upgrading the suspension and shocks may require more frequent maintenance, which could add to the overall cost of ownership.

Conclusion:

If you are looking for a reliable, fuel-efficient motorcycle with enough power for most riding conditions, the Honda CM400E 400T with CM400C suspension and CM400A shocks could be a great option. However, it's important to consider the additional cost and maintenance required for the suspension and shock upgrades. Ultimately, the decision to buy this bike depends on your budget, riding preferences, and priorities.

Recommendation:

If you are willing to invest in the suspension and shock upgrades, the Honda CM400E 400T with CM400C suspension and CM400A shocks could be a great choice. However, it's important to do your research and compare prices and options to ensure you are getting the best deal. If you are unsure, it may be a good idea to test ride the bike with the upgrades to see if it meets your needs and preferences.

Details:

Please inquire if your looking for something specific that you don't see listed yet. I charged the battery in the spring and it started right up.

It's not in a area where it will cause any problems. Parts are in good condition but does have outer edge of rubber cracked on top of one shock. Can be seen in photos. Have driven it up and down the block a few times.

81 Honda CM400A CM400C CM400E 400t oem suspension rear shocks for sale are the used oem rear shocks from '81 Honda CM400C. Fits all the 1981 Honda cm400's. No plates and everything seems to be working well electrically and with the fuel system.
