The e model's are the shortest, 398mm, the sm and smc are 401mm, the Adventure is 406mm, and the Sxc is the longest at 412mm.

This shock fit's 640cc. You'll find the ask a question link if you Scroll to the bottom of the listings. This is related to slight valving differences and slight changes in length , measured from to of mounting holes.

I will do my best to cross reference parts for you. To help visualize, it takes 25mm to make one inch, so from the sm to the adv, the length difference approx 3 16 of an inch. Lc4 shocks have different part numbers for almost every year and model.

Adventure, Sxc, smc, sm, egs, rxc, Sc, e model's. I would suggest adjusting your forks in the triple clamps to match the changes.

This is a nice used shock from a low mile 1999 Ktm 640 sm lc4, this is 401mm from eye to eye by part number, but the last one I measured was about 409mm with my not so great measuring setup, I don't have a caliper to measure something this large. GSR veers 625 gs 6.

This shock will fit most if not all Ktm lc4except for dukes.

This shock works great and does not leak.

All the Er's work as they should. This was my bike, it started as an sm, but was built from several model's, sm, Sxc, e, using the best parts I had. I will let you know if i'm not sure of fitment.
